Inpatient Neurology Consultation for Patients at Piedmont Medical Center

As neurohospitalists, our physicians care for hospitalized patients with (or at risk for) neurological disorders and disease.  We evaluate and treat inpatients for a multitude of conditions including altered mental status, acute stroke, seizure disorders, nervous system cancer, headaches and neuromuscular respiratory failure. We partner with other physicians on the patient’s care team to provide a multi-discipline approach for diagnosis and treatment.  The team has a goal of high inpatient quality of care and a potential reduction in length of stay.
